It can be a behavior lingering painful feelings that won't go away or maybe you sabotage anything good that happens in your life.  Addressing these concerns in individual therapy often is the first step to creating lifelong change.  I often find that in the process of taking an honest look at the state of our lives and relationship we find new areas to grow and improve upon.

Therapy does not have to be a painful process.  Sometimes growth is uncomfortable but I often find the pain of staying in dysfunctional and turbulent patterns is far greater than the pain of making a change.
