Group Therapy for Sex and Pornography Addiction
Building Recovery Network/Reducing Shame/Interupting Patterns of Isolation/Learning Connection

Group therapy is a valuable resource for many in recover from addiction. Addiction is always more painful when we struggle alone. By joining a therapy group you will work through issues with others going through similar circumstances and struggles. Not only does group therapy help you realize you are not alone in your struggle but it will help build your recovery network as you form connections to help you break through patterns of isolation and shame.

When first beginning a group it can be uncomfortable at first but I generally find the discomfort subsides after a session or two as you begin to form relationships find that there are others who are in the same boat. Many I have worked with have told me that working with a group has been the most rewarding and healing part of their recovery journey.

Trust is paramount to the group process so that every group member can feel safe to share and process. For this reason confidentiality is of the utmost importance and every group member is required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
